Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

The short version. SNR is a focus timer and notes app. Your chains, sessions, and notes belong to you. We collect the minimum needed to run the app and sync your data across your devices, we do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and the app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. You can use SNR as an anonymous guest, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

Who we are

SNR (“Signal-to-Noise Ratio”) is a mobile app and website operated by Viralinx, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company(“SNR”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through the SNR mobile app and the website at getsnr.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@viralinx.com.

Information we collect

In the app

  • Account information. If you create an account, we store the sign-in identifier you use — an email address (email or Google Sign-In) and a unique account ID. If you use SNR as a guest, we create an anonymous account ID only; no email or name is collected.
  • Your content. The focus chains, timer sessions, ratings, tasks, and notes you create in the app. This content stays on your device unless you are both signed in and subscribed to SNR Plus — sync is what uploads it. As a guest, or on a free account, it never leaves your device.
  • Subscription status. If you buy SNR Plus, our payments provider (RevenueCat) and the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) tell us whether your subscription is active. Your actual payment details (card number, etc.) are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store them.
  • Basic device/technical data. Standard information needed to deliver the service and keep it secure, such as app version, device platform, and error/diagnostic signals reported by the app-store and cloud infrastructure we use.

On-device analytics stay on your device. The insights and statistics SNR shows you (focused minutes, signal ratings, trends) are computed locally on your device from your own sessions. The app does not contain any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not transmit your behavior to analytics services for profiling.

On the website

  • Analytics & cookies — none at present. getsnr.com currently runs no analytics and sets no cookies, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner. If we reintroduce analytics when the full site returns, the banner returns with it and this policy will be updated first.
  • Messages you send us. If you email support, we receive your message and email address to respond.

How we use information

  • Provide the core service — run timers, save your chains and notes, and, for subscribers who are signed in, sync them across devices.
  • Manage subscriptions and unlock SNR Plus features you have purchased.
  • Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
  • Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your app content for advertising.

Service providers we share with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run SNR. They process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Google Firebase (Google Cloud) — authentication, and the cloud database that stores and syncs content for signed-in subscribers.
  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management (records whether your SNR Plus subscription is active).
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — process your purchases; your payment details stay with them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or SNR.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your associated content from our systems (backups age out on a rolling basis). Content that never left your device is removed when you delete the app.

Your choices & rights

  • Use SNR anonymously. You can use the app as a guest without providing an email.
  • Access or delete your data. You can delete your account and its content from within the app, or by emailing support@viralinx.com.
  • Regional rights. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls on our cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit what we collect in the first place.

Children

SNR is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

SNR is operated from the United States by a Wyoming company, and uses cloud infrastructure that may process data in the United States and other countries. By using SNR, you understand your information may be processed in these locations, with safeguards appropriate to the services we use.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
